Deluxe Corp.[3] is highlighting restaurateur Kim Bartmann[4] and other Twin Cities-based entrepreneurs in a series of short films featuring small businesses.
As part of its nationwide " Small Business Revolution[5]" project and to celebrate its 100th anniversary, Deluxe is telling the individual stories of 100 small businesses around the country through video and photo essays.
The end product of the collective anecdotes will be a 22-minute documentary on the impact of small businesses in America. Deluxe will use the photos and video in a national television, print and digital ad campaign.
Shoreview-based Deluxe (NYSE: DLX) provides checks, forms and web and marketing tools to more than 4.5 million small businesses and financial institutions.
The photo essays showcase St. Paul-based Laura Hlavac Design[6] ( see the photos here[7]), Minneapolis-based Bogart's Doughnut Co.[8] ( see the photos here[9]), St. Croix Chocolate[10] Co. in Marine on St. Croix ( see the photos here[11]) and other local small businesses.
