H&R Block Inc.[2] (NYSE: HRB) announced that it launched a new service called Block Advisors, which will offer year-round tax planning and preparation advice for individuals and small businesses.

Block Advisors has more than 280 offices nationwide, with advisers that average 15 years of tax preparation experience.

"We know consumers have different needs and that taxes are not a one-day-a-year event for many of our clients," H&R Block Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Collins[4] said in a release. "Block Advisors delivers specialized, personalized tax planning and preparation. The tax advisers staffing Block Advisors offices are available year-round to answer questions and meet with clients when they need it."
